One of the first videos I produced for Upworthy.

Frank Thompson has administered the death penalty twice, but now, he's traveling the country and speaking out against it.

Here is one of my favorite pieces I've ever shot. It is a profile of a Blind Hiker who walked the entire 2100 mile Appalachian Trail. This episode of Our State won a Mid-South Regional Emmy!

This is the Trailer for my Documentary High Sierra - A Journey on the John muir Trail. It won BEST DOCUMENTARY at the 2012 Cape Fear I ndependent Film Festival, the SIERRA NEVADA AWARD - 2011 Mountain Film Awards and was an Official Selection at the 2011 Wild and Scenic Film Festival and the 2011 Anchorage International Film Festival.

A music video I shot with my good friend and collaborator Leon Godwin. He did the directing and editing of this one.

Before finishing the feature length version of my John Muir Trail documentary I edited this 6 minute piece together for broadcast. It now has over 30k views! It features 5 high school students from Chapel Hill, NC and their experience along the trail. We took 16 days at about 15 miles of hiking per day to hike all 220 miles from Yosemite Valley south to Mt. Whitney. Music is by Leon Godwin.

This is a North Carolina Weekend (UNC-TV) story from the 2009 Ashe County Fiddler's Convention in West Jefferson NC. I really had no idea how great this piece was until I started editing the footage.

This is a profile about the designers and owners of Raleigh Denim. They are handcrafting designer jeans using only locally sourced materials made in North Carolina. This piece was nominated for a regional Emmy and has over 50k views online!

This is a piece I shot and edited about the Hip-Hop scene in North Carolina. It features J. Cole, 9th Wonder, and several other artists from NC. J. Cole is my second favorite artist and in my opinion the best rapper ever.
